I know he sound like a traitor but I think not, he came to orochimaru in seek of power to beat itachi, he feels like he isn't growing any power while naruto is getting stronger, he only wants the power to beat itachi but he isn't orochimaru's Allie. Also remember he didn't kill naruto when he got a chance? The first reason why he fought Naruto was to get the mangekyo sharingan, but then make an excuse that he doesn't want the same power as itachi when it's literally their clan's gift

So in a way that defines him as a traitor to leaf. He isn't actively causing leaf harm, but his decision is.

I get your point, but in my POV, Sasuke turned his self into something like he doesn't exist, he only exist for revenge on itachi, that's how I see him.

He already said it times that he's only an avenger, he needs power, he turned his self like he doesn't exist in konoha or sound village, he's only there for power.he killed orochimaru and I heard him say "I'm not your ally to begin with" (when I played Naruto game)
